About Me
I'm Matthew Walmsley, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) based in Peterborough, Ontario.
My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative and informed by evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I see therapy as a process of working together to better understand your experiences, explore patterns and perspectives, and identify goals that are meaningful to you.
My background includes counselling psychology, education, and community-based work. These experiences have shaped the way I approach psychotherapy, with an emphasis on curiosity, respect, and understanding each person's circumstances and experiences.
